SHIPPING POLICY

MyIsraelbooks.com operates according to accepted terms of sale regarding international delivery based on the FCA (Free Carrier) definition. MyIsraelbooks.com starts processing all orders within a short time after receiving them. We gather the items for your order from our central warehouse and prepare them for shipment. At times we need to collect certain items for a particular order from more distant warehouses, depending on availability, which could lead to a delay in processing times. We ship via DHL International and your shipping charges are calculated prior to submitting your order. FCA terms state that it is our responsibility to bring your order to DHL for shipping. From there it is DHL’s responsibility to deliver it to you. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships. It is up to you to keep track of your order and contact DHL directly if there are any issues.

CHANGES IN THE US TAX AND TARIFF SYSTEM
We have been operating in accordance with the recent changes in the US tax system regarding imports. Books and other printed materials are exempted from tax according to the tariff system. We have made sure that the learning materials on our website have the correct HTS code that shows this exemption. However, it is possible that there will be unanticipated glitches.

Order Cancellation/Return

• Orders can be cancelled at no charge within 1 hour of them being submitted. It must be done by phone or email: [email protected] or 718-785-4113.
• You may cancel an order within 14 days of having received the products. If the product is not defective, a cancellation fee of 5% or 100 NIS (the lower of the two options) will be deducted from the refunded amount.
• The product must be returned in its original packaging.
• If the product is damaged upon receipt, our company will cover the return shipping fees. Otherwise, the customer will cover the return shipping fee.
• The refunded amount will be returned to your credit card.
• Stickers, posters, cassettes and CDs are not returnable.
